The exhibition of portraits titled "Prominent People of My Time" authored by Anatoly Avetyan, the People's Artist of RA, opened at Tekeyan Centre. The event was organized within the framework of the artist’s 70th anniversary, on the initiative of the Tekeyan Cultural Association of Armenia and with the support of the Tekeyan Centre Fund.

The opening was held in the presence of Vahram Dumanyan, the RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Ruben Mirzakhanyan, the Chairman of the TCA Armenia, Suren Safaryan, the President of the RA Union of Artists, as well as many artists and art lovers.

The exhibition features 30 works painted by Anatoly Avetyan in 2022. These are the portraits of the artist’s contemporaries, mainly prominent Armenians, some of whom Anatoly Avetyan met in different periods of his life.

The unique exhibition presented to art lovers for the first time, will be open till December 16,2023.
