It is with great sorrow that we learn of the passing of Yervand Azadian, a prominent author, literary critic, public figure, political and national leader.

On behalf of the Tekeyan Centre Fund Armenia and the London Tekeyan Trust, we express our deepest condolences to the Azadian family, friends and colleagues for their loss.

It is a great loss not only for the Diaspora, but also for the national, political, social and cultural life of Armenia, since for many years Yervand Azadian carried out invaluable patriotic activities in these fields, and also devoted himself and made an important contribution to the development of AGBU, TCA, ADLP and other national organisations.

Your memory will never fade, Mr Azadian, rest in peace…
