On the occasion of the International Children's Day, the Tekeyan Centre Fund initiated children's art exhibition entitled "The World outside Our Window" featuring the works by young talents from the Yerevan Haykanush Danielyan Art School.

About eighty works including oil paintings, miniatures, sculptures, collages and other pieces of applied art were exposed at Tekeyan Centre. Exhibits with original interpretations included illustrations of everyday objects, familiar landscapes, literary scenes that received artistic expression; collages "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, fairy tales by Hovhannes Tumanyan are worth mentioning.

TCF Director Armen Tsulikyan delivered a welcoming speech and congratulated all the children on the holiday and the show at Tekeyan Centre. He also expressed his gratitude to the art school teachers for passing so much important knowledge onto their students and for training the skills of applying artistic ideas in their works.

The coordinator of the Danielyan Art School, Anahit Khachatryan gave a brief overview of the school's 55-year history. She noted that almost all the branches of art are taught at school, and their students have always honourably represented the school at republican, local and international competitions, and also became international laureates.

At the opening of the exhibition, the guests also enjoyed the beautiful performances by the students of the pop vocal department of the art school.

The exhibition "The World outside Our Window" will remain open at Tekeyan Centre until June 10, 2023; entrance is free.
