Museums & Sightseeing Tours

The Tekeyan Centre Fund realizes the project "Museums & Sightseeing Tours" annually since 2010. The project enables schoolchildren to visit and explore the landmarks of Armenia and Artsakh, to get deeper knowledge of the Armenian history and culture as well as of the life and activity of prominent people of the nation. It is also a good opportunity for children to make new friends from various regions of Armenia and Artsakh.

About 700 project beneficiaries already enjoyed excursions to museums and historic sites of our country, amongst which are:

In Armenia – Hovhannes Toumanian Museum in Yerevan and Home-Museum in Dsegh, Paruyr Sevak’s Home-Museum in Zangakatun, Komitas Museum-Institute, the Pantheon, Mayr Hayastan Military Museum, the National Gallery of Armenia, Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory named after V. Hambardzumyan, the Yerevan History Museum, the Literuature and Art Museum named after Y. Charents, Holy Etchmiadzin Treasury and churches in Etchmiadzin, Ruins of Zvartnots, Noravank, Khor Virap, Temple of Garni, Monastery of Geghard, Harichavank Monastery, Trdatavank, Haghpat Monastery, Amberd Fortress, Tatev Monastery, Zorats Qarer, Shaqi Waterfall, ruins of Ani from the boarder…
