Armenian-American painter and visual artist Srboohie Abajian, accompanied by her husband, Mark Abajian, a software consultant, visited the Tekeyan Centre and met TCF Director Armen Tsulikyan.

During the working meeting, a number of potential joint projects and initiatives in the field of culture were discussed. The importance of strengthening ties between Armenia and the Diaspora through art and creative thought was emphasized.

The Tekeyan Centre Fund values such cooperation and is committed to continuing projects aimed at the preservation and promotion of Armenian cultural heritage.

During their visit, the guests also viewed Harutyun Khachatryan’s “The Land of My Ancestors” photo exhibition at the Tekeyan Centre.

It should be noted that Srboohie Abajian’s works address themes of identity, justice, history, memory, and Armenian heritage. Her art reflects both her Armenian roots and her experience as an artist working in the United States. Her works have been presented at various exhibitions and cultural projects in the US and internationally.
